I think this is where they discovered the art of aging a Cuban cigar. No one really knows, but most good things are discovered by accident. So is the case here, especially when it comes to an aged fine Cuban cigar. Cuban cigars taste great fresh from their case, but if you store them for a few years (Just like wine), you will have something incredible on your hands. This is why the Cuban cigar brand Cohiba is considered the top of the line cigar in the world. Before the actual construction of the cigar, the tobacco leaves used are aged for sometime.
So just let them do their thing for a few years and watch them get even more amazing over the years. You will notice that the construction gets better and overall structure of your Cuban cigar. So how do age a Cuban cigar? Well by simply getting a humidor and placing them in their. A humidor is a square or rectangle shaped object that has the proper properties to help you age your cigar. The main thing here is temperature and the idea is to mimic the same temperature they have in Cuba. I guess you can say a humidor is like a mini Cuba in the comfort of your own home.
The great thing about present times is you can easily get access to a humidor that is right for you. If you are a big time cigar aficionado, than go for the big time and create a room humidor. A room humidor is basically converting a room in your house into a personal humidor. Yes naturally they are expensive but they are also the best. If you are looking for something most people go for, than try a table humidor. Table humidor are perfect because they not only store your cigars, but they also serve as great pieces to put around the house so your friends can enjoy them too.
What you can do is start off with a little cheap humidor to see how it works and go from their. Their is nothing like aged Cuban cigars my friend. The great thing is that everything gets better when you age a Cuban cigar. The construction, the the taste and just the overall feel of the cigar. Invest in a humidor today and if you really want to get starterd, get some tupperware and put some water at the bottom and than place your cigar on a piece of cedar or something.
